Bremerton School District is proud of it's Nationally Recognized Early Childhood Care and Education Group (ECCE). This group works closely with community preschools, child care providers, and Bremerton schools to:

• Increase the number of children entering Kindergarten with early reading and math skills
• Decrease learning disabilities associated with reading and math difficulties

ECCE partners and the Bremerton School District:

• Participate in monthly training
• Receive ongoing support and resources
• Look at research and best practices
• Share materials and curriculum to use in preschool environments
• Celebrate the growth our children make!

There is a strong connection between the development a child undergoes early in life and the level of success that the child will experience later in life.
